Brandt named GM of Crabs

PORT CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Stone Crabs officially named Corey Brandt as general manager Wednesday.
Brandt had been serving in the role since July, but not in an official capacity. He said the franchise wanted to wait until after the season to announce the new title so as “not to make a big deal out of it.”
