The San Antonio Knights of
Columbus 12456 probably wished more kids had signed up for its annual soccer challenge held Sept. 29 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School on Augusta Street in Port Charlotte. But at least those who came seemed to have a good time sharpening their skills while helping get the word out about the Catholic organization.
The challenge is one of an array of sporting activities the Knights of Columbus put on every year where the best of the best go on compete regionally and nationally. It also brings awareness to the organization and the good it does for the community.
