PORT CHARLOTTE — A scoring mistake led to disappointment for Lemon Bay High School at the District 1A-17 tournament Monday, but it created an historic moment for Community Christian School.

Austin Frische, the Manta Rays’ No. 3 golfer, was disqualified after signing an incorrect scorecard. It had his final score, 81, correct, but the hole-by-hole scores were in the wrong place on the card.
