A hearing for Michael Rice, 23, charged in a fatal Osprey hotel bar shooting on May 26, was continued Friday in Sarasota County Court.

According to eye witnesses, Rice reportedly shot 46-year-old Phil Nahon in the head at the Bentley’s Boutique Hotel bar. For that Rice faces a second-degree murder charge.
