The city of Venice cut its attorney fees almost in half over the past few years. While that’s a trend in the right direction, it wasn’t enough for Council Member Bob Daniels.

He wanted a more detailed accounting of legal expenses — not just what appeared in the “Legal Fees” budget line item in the general fund, but for all enterprise funds.
