NORTH PORT — Louise “Lou” Harrison, sister of Beatle George Harrison, has spent 50 years spreading the word about her brother’s band. Now, she’s helping music and arts education through her organization Help Keep Music Alive by bringing her Beatles tribute band, Liverpool Legends, to North Port High School and other area schools.

“There are about 500 Beatles bands across the world,” she said. Asked what’s different about Liverpool Legends, she smiles and says, “Me.”
