SARASOTA — Port Charlotte High School’s Jovian Medina shot a 73 to tie for second in the Heritage Oaks Classic on Friday as the Pirates took sixth place.

Medina finished two strokes behind Riverview’s Jeremy Pernah, who took medalist honors with a 71. Medina tied Riverview’s Mason Fox as the Rams won the team competition with a 306.
