Injuries have slowed local runners on college cross country teams.

Because of a foot injury, junior Brian Haynes of Saint Leo University had to decide this past week whether to redshirt this season or compete in the final three meets, including the conference championship later this month. If he chose to redshirt, he said he would not be able to run track either.
