NORTH PORT — Citing a reviving economic climate and an increasing demand for new homes, home builder Pulte Homes has resumed construction on the Cypress Falls development in the Woodlands, located near the intersection of North Toledo Blade and Panacea boulevards, according to sales agent Katherine Blower.
“It was an existing community that opened back in 2005 and closed 148 sales in 2006-2007,” Blower said. “Then the market took a downturn and Centex shut down all new construction in August of 2008. In 2009, Centex was bought out by Pulte Homes, which allowed the market to readjust itself, and we opened this past February. Since then we have sold 24 new homes there.”
