Barbara Jeanne Diana, 58, of Venice, Fla., formerly of Pueblo West, Colo., and Chester, Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012.

She was born July 20, 1953, and was raised in Shrub Oak, N.Y. She then moved with her family to Hawthorne, Calif., and then later to Parker, Colo. In Colorado, she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics.
