Hazel Wolf Finan, formally of Warren N.J., and Venice, Fla., passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, in Atlanta, Ga., at the age of 95.

Born on Aug. 21, 1917, in Irvington, N.J., Hazel was the daughter of Lawrence and Lurlie Wolf. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

William J. Finan, her husband of 61 years, and her sister, May Johnson, preceded Hazel in death. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Susan Finan of Marietta, Ga.; and a daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Ralph Papa of York, Pa.; as well as four grandchildren, Peter and Amy Finan and Jim and Andrea Papa.

Hazel will be dearly missed by her many friends and family, who loved her very much. She will always be remembered for her kind gentleness and generosity.

Services: A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 3401 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta GA. SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society, www.southcare.us, is handling arrangements.
