John E. Wynne
John Edward Wynne, 77, formerly of Michigan, passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, after a long illness.
Mr. Wynne served his country as an MP in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wayne State University, and was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. John also worked as both a purchaser and a sales representative in the garment industry, most notably for J.L. Hudson’s in Detroit, Mich., which later became Marshall Fields and, eventually, Macy’s.
He was preceded in death by daughters Carol Ann and Colleen Sue. John is survived by Lois, his loving wife of 54 years; son John Jr. and his wife, Amy, of Deer Park, Ill.; grandchildren, Cara, Meghan, Johnny III and Lindsey; sister, Alice Moeller of Rhodes, Mich.; and so many other relatives and special friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services: John’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, at Venice Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place in White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy, Mich. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, has been selected to care for arrangements.
