Faith H. Centofanti died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. She was born Aug. 17, 1935.

In loving memory of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and our best friend, Faith will be missed by all. Survivors include her husband, Joseph (colonel, U.S. Air Force, retired); sons Joseph III and Stephen; daughter Christin; son-in-law John; brothers John and Dirk; and grandson Jonathon. All of her children’s friends loved her as they knew she was their mom as well. Faith brought everyone happiness, joy, peace and love. Faith graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in journalism, and was a journalist with the Orlando Sentinel and numerous Air Force publications, as well as helping to shape and enhance her husband’s career.

Services: A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 265 S. Nokomis Ave., Venice, on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Chapel, 1301 Center Road, Venice, on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m., with a reception to follow at Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club, 499 Derbyshire Road, Venice. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 East Clark Road, Sarasota, Friday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m.
