Della Mae Reinert, 87, went to Heaven peacefully on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012.

A resident of Pinebrook Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Venice, and formerly of Sarasota, Della was born in Hazard, Ky., Sept. 29, 1929, to Robert and Allie Sams.

Della was preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Cuddy; daughter Donna Rodriguez; second husband, Donald Reinert; and sister, Cristoria Maurer. Della leaves behind her children, James Cuddy of Florida, Judy Studenroth of Pennsylvania, Dolly McDonald of Florida, Martha Beaman of Florida, Sandy Causey of Kentucky, Denise Wetmore of Florida and Donald Reinert of Florida; as well as 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Della will be missed by her sisters, Delphia Keis and Jane Eberle, and brother, Bill Sams, all of Pennsylvania.
