Mollie Asch

Mollie Asch passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.

She was born in Suffolk, England, Dec. 11, 1912. She moved to Canada as a child and came to the United States at the beginning of World War II. Mollie was a private secretary to a wing commander in the British Air Commission and was stationed in Ohio and Washington, D.C. She lived in many places during her life, including Dayton, Ohio, White Plains, N.Y., Washington, D.C. and Venice. She enjoyed painting and classical music.

Mollie was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Pitman, and husbands William Hunter and Robert Asch.

Her survivors include stepsons Donald Asch and Kenneth Asch, stepdaughter Adele Dalenberg; 12 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and foster child Alice Hardesty of Louisville, Ky.

She was a member of Venice Presbyterian Church.

Mollie wished to express her gratitude to everyone at Mark Manor who was so kind to her.

Services: A graveside service will be held at Venice Memorial Gardens Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Contributions: Memorial donations may be made to Venice Presbyterian Church.
