Rallying from a four-run deficit, the Venice All-Stars pulled out a 19-13 victory over Greater Naples to capture second place in the 9-10-year-old Section 6 Little League Tournament Sunday afternoon at Chuck Reiter Complex.
Venice, the District 16 champion, won two of three games over the two-day tournament, including an 8-4 win in Saturday’s opener. South Fort Myers All-Stars went unbeaten in its three games, including a 13-1 win over Venice Saturday. Its other wins were 16-4 over Greater Naples and 12-4 over Lehigh Acres.
