The Venice High girls golf team improved its record to 7-0 with a rain-shortened victory over Cardinal Mooney at the Founders Club in Sarasota Tuesday.
The Indians were only able to get through five holes, the minimum number in order for a match to become official, before the sky opened up. Freshman Victoria Cangero posted Venice’s lowest score for the third consecutive match, shooting an even-par 20.
