The Venice High JV football team blanked North Port 20-0 Thursday evening. The Indians, who went winless in 2011, are now 2-0, with both victories coming via shutout.

Nick Dellilo ran for more than 100 yards and two touchdowns for Venice. Indians head coach Joe DeCiantis credited fullback Nick Imperante, who also scored, for his hard running throughout the game.
