Venice rolls towards showdown with Manatee

The Venice High volleyball team (19-3), ranked No. 24 in the nation, made quick work of Riverview Tuesday night, sweeping the Rams 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.
The Indians were led by sophomore Gen Beaumier, who hit .519 with 14 kills and 0 errors. Holly Mattmuller was effective on the attack as well, with 11 kills of her own.
