It’s playoff time for fall high school sports, and Venice has two teams poised for deep runs into the postseason.

The football team clinched its playoff spot with Friday’s win over Braden River and will hit the road in the first round of the playoffs. The Indians will likely travel 70 miles north to Largo to take on Pinellas Park.
